[Dixielandjazz] New Orleans Traditional Jazz Camp

The week-long camp opens on Sunday, June 23, at the Bourbon Orleans Hotel.

There will be a graduation recital by the campers on Friday afternoon, June 
28, in the ballroom of the hotel. This is open to the public at no charge. 
It usually starts at 3 PM. The recital can be quite lengthy, so eat a late 
lunch before attending.

A feature of the camp is an after breakfast lecture on some musical topic 
each day. Someone recorded one of the lectures of four years ago and has

One of the comments asks if the trumpeter is Ed Polcer. Mr. Polcer was a 
camp instructor for a few years, but he has returned to New York City.
