[Dixielandjazz] Australian Jazz Convention

5 more sleeps until the 72nd annual AJC, held annually since 1946 in
different towns/cities across Australia.
Held in Ballarat, Vic for last 3 years. It has always been a convention for
jazz musicians and delegates, rather than being a public festival. Very few
original participants will be there this year but, many current musicians
and bands from locally and, interstate are registered. Regular Melbourne
bands including the Syncopators, Steve Waddell's Creole Bells and "youth"
bands will perform and, mix in many of the programmed bands registered for
the convention.
