This note was sent to me by a trumpeter friend who, for reasons which
follow, shall remain anonymous. He reported that his recent colonoscopy
showed no abnormality and..

 

"I walked across the hall to the men's room and was rewarded with a
thunderous blast.  When I came out, the staff had little grins so I paused a
second and said, 'God's Trombones' and got a laugh."
