Something of possibly general interest: over 50 guests came to the radio show(s)
that Peggy Lee hosted in the early 1950s. A fair number of the names are relatively
obscure or off the beaten path, though there are certainly well known names in the
mix, too: Mary Lou Williams, Jack Haskell, Matt Dennis, Johnny Dugan, Louis Prima,
Larry Douglas, Bill Lechner...
There were actually two of these Peggy Lee radio shows, one that ran only during
the summer of 1951, the other for most of 1952. I recently finished putting together
a long discographical page about both of them. If curious about the guests or the
songs, scroll all the way down to the end, near where you will find a song index,
followed by a guest index:

Also included, throughout the page: photos of each guest. (Scroll through.)
For fellow fans of Peggy, it is worth adding that, with a few exceptions, she sang
a duet with each guest.
