Because of the nature and tactics of personal information harvesters 
like Google, Facebook, et al, I don't trust them. Their "personal 
privacy" options are as convoluted as their respect for their users.

Many of us just want to exchange words -- information or questions about 
OKOM. The fancier the media, the more it digresses from that basic 
purpose; the simple exchange of words. Text-based forums may be dated 
and simplistic, but they work just fine for trading words and web-links.

P.S.  There's a safe alternative to Google search, DuckDuckGo.com, which 
does not pass on any of your message or personal info, wiping the slate 
clean after each search. Works for me.
