For those who may have some interest in the origins and
history of the bluegrass genre of music, this 1 1/2 hour
documentary/movie is available at the link above.

Bill Monroe was the "father of bluegrass" in the same way
that Buddy Bolden was the "father of jazz". The first
bluegrass bands arrived a half century later than the
first jazz bands. Thus, the audio and visual documentation
available at the later start provides a clearer view of
the pioneers of the genre.

Note---There is a "B" western movie with the same title.
This is "High Lonesome---the History of "Bluegrass Music".
Here is a synopsis copied from a search--

Synopsis
A must-see video for die-hard Bluegrass fans, as well as a mandatory
"Bluegrass primer" for those who are just becoming interested in the
uniquely American roots of country music. Bluegrass as a musical form was
derived from a combination of African and Scottish/Irish traditions. The
video explores these origins and provides an engaging and fascinating look
at a musical evolution, featuring over 100 songs and bluegrass legends like
Bill Monroe, that Stanley Brothers, Mac Wiseman, Jimmy Martin, Flatt &
Scruggs and many others. ~ Kathryn Tamms, Rovi
