Here we agree!
I didn't care much for the song then, but even then it was welcome
change from the rest of the pop music on ther radio (there was no
television in Israel in those days).
Then, as I have already mentioned, I head Acker play it with a jazz
band, and it was lovely!
Acker and I reminisced about his tour of Poland in 1955 (or was it 1954?).
