[Dixielandjazz] cornet

as for toning down, I heard it said once upon a time that Buddy Bolden was
so loud on the cornet that the port authority would occasionally hire him
to fill in when the fog horn was busted.  I have no idea if that is true or
not, but that doesn't stop me from telling my band kids the story ;)
