Of course I do what??????     I was quoting (with an introduction and use of quotation marks) the strange comment by another party to the effect that he could hear some Rock'n'Roll influences in a recording of 1917.....  Then I was misread. 


I thought the YouTube comment-maker could have put it better, and I did my best to make it clear that the comment was from YouTube and not from me.... and suggested to me the curious idea that the influences were FROM Rock'n'whatnot ---  of course rock'n'roll recycles a certain amount, and maybe a lot of it or even a majority is recycled stuff,  but you can't recycle all that much into a later product which is simple and lacking in substance and range. 
"Music is evolutionary"? 

Music is encouraged to decay and decline by the use of money et cetera
