Back in the early 80s we, The Second Heard of the Fulton Street Jazz Band, decided we'd like to play Bud Freeman's THE EEL.   Inspired by Bobby Gordon's wonderful version of it with the Jim Cullum Happy Jazz Band, we did it and it became a regular in our book.   Here it is, at the Nugget in Sparks, NV, in 1988.  Dean Nelson, trumpet, Mike Starr, trombone, Bob Hirsch, piano, Roger Krum, bass, Vince Bartels, drums, and me on clarinet.
