Hear Red Allen with Conrad Janis. Best of all, look at the poster that flash across the screen. All kinds of Dixieland bands from a Fletcher Henderson un it to the young Conrad Janis who was just getting started.

These are just hitting You Tube now from Hoffman Jazz. Search "Jazz at the CentralPlaza" on You Tube for more. It was a wonderful scene in NYC back then. How lucky those of us who were there, were there.
