But, even when Louis played the same solo night after night, it was not like a Classical musician trying to play the same solo every time he played it.
If you listen closely, you’ll always hear subtle differences in his solos. Perhaps some nights he was trying to add a little, or improve on it a little. Other nights he might have felt different, thus playing the solo slightly different.
There is nothing wrong with essentially playing the same solo each time you play a song. After all, In Louis’ case, how can you improve on the best?
