[Dixielandjazz] Treme, now that it has been mentioned!

I have to agree with Larry!

Treme is a powerful series, and it covers a lot of topics and people - the
structure of the show may be complicated, but NOLA is a complicated place.
I have met some of the cast and crew and they are committed to making the
best possible program. The music is a major part of the story, but it is
the musicians who tell their part in their own way (and many are local,
working musicians.)

And if you want to find traditional OKOM in the city, go to The Spotted Cat
or several other clubs on Frenchman, or in clubs opening up in Marginy or
Bywater and you will find dedicated young (and not so young) musicians who
are bringing new life to old standards and a new energy to the music
scene! Maybe some of them were not born in New Orleans, but they are an
important part of it now.
