[Dixielandjazz] Inflation (was Dixieland at Disneyland of long ago)

Well you really see the inflation when you realize that many of the Dixieland Players still make the same money, as they did back in the sixties, their fees did not inflate with everything else huuummmm...  anybody wonder WHY ?
 
Part of the Preservation of Traditional Jazz,   As in Preservation of Cheap music. since musicians all play for Fun, and don't need to pay rent, buy gas, have electricity, insurance, groceries, etc.  and of course if you pay them they will just spend all the money on booze and drugs anyway right ?

I can remember when you could get into Preservation Hall for $1 and stay 
four hours.

Now it's $15 for each set and the sets seem shorter. Not quite as much 
inflation, but close.

In the summer months the general admission price of 3 dollars

A bit of nostalgia for me.  Now the entrance fee to Disneyland
is in the $100 neighborhood.  Ah yes, those were the days.
