All of us jazz musicians and hip folks in the 1940s/.50s knew that Floy Floy was
hip speak for VD, and that a Flat Foot Floogie was a street walking working girl. Legend has it the the word Floogie, was changed from Floozie in the original song title so that they could get past the censors and play it on the radio.

These are GREAT songs to add to a Dixieland Repertorie. I much prefer playing them rather that dragging out some tired old obscure song that few appreciate and cannot be made relevant to today's audiences.
