Yes, I know that. W was referring to plants in the U.S. where I understand
the work can be done very cheaply.
I am quite content to do the cd's here in Madrid as I have worked with the
pressing plant for over 35 yrs now. The reason for my comment on djml was
more due to the surprise that the count for the years for royalties (be they
70/75/80)is from the date of death of the last of the composers of a
particular song. From the date of death!!
I expected to see some comments on djml about that revelation, and wondered
if it was the same everywhere....but, no one bit except for your comment,
which I appreciate.
Doesn't everyone suppose, as I did, that a song is free xx years from the
date it was published, not the date of death of the composer/s?
