Hi,
According to Frebergs book `It only hurts when I laugh` part 2 was ready 
many years ago but at the time  he was going to have part 1 put on Broadway 
by Merrick (I think) and Merrick didn`t want part 2 to be issued until after 
the show had appeared
For various almost unbelievable  reasons the show was never put on. This is 
a really weird part of the book but in essence Merrick wanted changes to 
which Freberg would not agree.
When they finally split up Freberg considered himself free to issue Part 2. 
Perhaps if the second part had been issued when Freberg wanted he would have 
recognised what tripe it was compared to Part 1 and done something about it.

A fascinating speculation. What a show that would have been. I would have 
given my eye teeth to have seen that.
