Hi folks--
Below is a message from the nice people who run the Atlanta Jazz Party--
hopefully you (or someone you know--feel free to pass this info along)
can join us there April 15-17!
-Jon

~~~~~~~~~~~~
In the swinging, Atlanta Jazz Party classic jazz tradition, we’re excited to
introduce five magnificent new musicians to this year’s all-star line-up —
Crooner Freddy Cole will join us for what is certain to be a memorable
Pizzarelli-Cole reunion performance; the ever popular Paul Keller recognized
for numerous collaborations including Diana Krall; and new to the LA Jazz
scene, Kristin Korb on vocals and string bass; Russ Philips on trombone; And
the swing of vibraphone and drummer Chuck Redd recently on tour with Ken
Peplowski and in earlier years with the great Charlie Byrd
Joining Kristin, Russ, Paul and Chuck will be long-time AJP favorites Randy
Reinhart, Jon-Erik Kellso and Ed Polcer on trumpet/cornet; Allan Vaché, and
Ron Hockett on reeds; Of course the lineup would not be complete without Bob
Havens on trombone; On piano John Sheridan, David Boeddinghaus and John
Cocuzzi on piano and vibes; Matt Munisteri and Bucky Pizzarelli on guitar;
Ed Metz Jr. on drums rounds out this years ALL Star Lineup!. Music is in the
tradition of Chicago/New York, BG Quartet, West Coast, New Orleans jazz
bands and combos.
We transform the Grand Ballroom of the Westin Atlanta North at Perimeter
into a cabaret jazz hall assembling superb combos of classic improvisational
jazz for your listening and dancing pleasure. All-star line-ups will play
seven sets on Friday night, seven sets on Saturday afternoon, seven sets on
Saturday night, and seven sets on Sunday. All performers get featured in
each session. Atlanta Jazz Party! Patrons get to attend all four sessions
plus the exclusive Saturday morning jazz brunch just for patrons and
musicians.
Our party continues to be widely talked about by both musicians and fans all
over the country. Atlanta Jazz Party! Patrons come from all over the United
States and nine countries and we are especially pleased that our
Atlanta-area patronage continues to grow... Table assignments are made in
the order we receive your reservation. The music is played in a casual,
cabaret setting, with a cash bar right outside the ballroom. Mention the
