Steve, Bill and all,
Have you heard of Bourgeois Scum?
An excellent (American, Steve) jazz group, that could not get gigs or
even dates vecause of the name. Luckily for us, they were not
stubborn. Eventually, the group became The Classic Jazz Quartet (Joe
Muranyi, Dick Sudhalter, Marty Grosz and Dick Wellstood).
Cheers

Hasty off-stage discussions resulted in a change to a more respectable name and the Red Onion Jazz Band title was chosen in honour of the 1924 Louis Armstrong recording group.
