With all this talk of youth, it's time to remind the English listees
that Tamas will be in Oxfordshire with his Bohém /Ragtime Jazz Band/
playing at our village hall near Witney on Tues July 6th. At the moment
this is the band's only appearance before they play at Whitley Bay
Festival (in the far NE of the UK) I'm still working on finding another
gig on July 7th and (in the North) on July 8th.. if anyone can help with
ideas or large sums of money :-) I'd love to hear from you.
With a certain amount of trepidation, I went into a Witney record store
where a young man with a stud in his chin welcomed me warmly. I won't
hold my breath but he said the band sounded "cool" and that he was sure
some of his friends will be interested. Whatever the upshot he's
displaying the poster and, without prompting from me, offered to sell
tickets for us. If anyone would like to come to the gig, tickets are
£10 and if you can't get to "Rapture" in Witney, I'm sure we can work
things out in an email!
As an added tempatation, the AA campsite of the year is 4 miles away

There's a Travelodge 10 miles away at Burford and B&Bs in the next
village.
Meanwhile I've got to think of a way to make our village hall look more
like an underground cavern to tempt the youth along!
