Not so.

Bob Barnard's first recording was on his sixteenth birthday - November 24, 
1949. ORY'S CREOLE TROMBONE/ CLARINET MARMALADE on Jazzart JA-34. Soon to 
appear on a double CD of  Jazzart's "traditional" jazz recordings, almost 
ready for issue by the Victorian Jazz Archive.
