    I agree, Steve.  Woody Allen's use of jazz in  the sound tracks of his 
movies, and even as the subject matter of one ("Sweet  and Lowdown") has put 
traditional jazz in the ears of a lot of people over the  years.  If each 
of us did as much, perhaps the music wouldn't be fading  away.
