[Dixielandjazz] Monty Sunshine RIP

Here goes another one!  And relatively young, too.
A strange thing - I did not like his work with Barber so much, and his
early bands (after quitting Barber) sounded more polite than hot.
That was true as late as 1984, when I heards his band in Edinburgh.
But his later band seemed to have all the fire expected of a
traditional band, all due to his own playing becoming hotter and
hotter rather than polished.
