Some other women in Jazz:  Anat Cohen  (originally from Israel,clarinet and sax), Aurelie Tropez (clarinet and sax, France), Gunhild Carling (various instruments, Sweden), Bria Skonberg (British Colombia, trumpet.  She has her own all women band, Mighty Aphrodite) , Doreen Ketchens (clarinet, New Orleans).  Cynthia Sayers, (N.Y., banjo and vocals.) Most of these are young, fresh talent keeping jazz alive.
