Hi Folks,
Acknowledged jazz expert & presenter, Walter Love, gave considerable airtime to our new 'Ragtime Revisited' DVD/CD box set (Martin Litton - John Petters & James Evans) on Sunday’s Jazz Club broadcast on BBC Radio Ulster.

Like Paul Barnes (The Late Paul Barnes - BBC Radio for the Eastern Counties) the previous week, he chose the opening track, ‘Grandpa’s Spells’, and followed this with the only new composition on the album, ‘Cinnabar Rag’, composed by James Evans, inspired by the life cycle of the Cinnabar Moth.

Walter concluded his review with Joplin’s ‘Elite Syncopations’.

The box set comprising an audio cd and a dvd is available on line at:

Other items of interest in the show were reviews of the new Lake CD by the Chris Barber Band with Sonny Terry & Brownie McGhee.
Catch the show on BBC Iplayer at: http://www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/episode/b00n487j/Jazz_Club_04_10_2009/

It will be available until Sunday. If you’ve not listened to Walter’s show, I can thoroughly recommend it – an hour of listening pleasure.
