Dear Listmates,

Few musicians can be defined just by their first name: Bix, Louis, Ella, 
Billy, Clancy, Sidney, or by their nickname: Duke, Fats, Kid, J.C. 
(I mean Higginbotham, not the other one :-)), Pee Wee, Wild Bill.

In the 'dixieland' scene in the Netherlands, "Cees" was such a person.

Slowly but surely we begin to realize what gap he left behind....

He will not be forgotten!
