It was Uan Rasey. I spoke to him just now. He remembered doing the solo at that session.

As none of the DJML US oldies have responded, may I offer a memory prompt??

The Billy May orch recorded a popular non-vocal version of "Forgettable" in Hollywood for Capitol on 7 January 1952.?

I was available on an EP, including here in Australia. However, it is not in my collection.?

Two great trumpet candidates in the recording band at that time were John Best and Manny Klein.?

Just a thought.?
