Dear Chat Lists, (and fans friends and clients recipient list hidden):

Barbone Street buried the old year, in style yesterday. The Unitarian  
Church was SRO and the New Orleans Funeral was wonderful complete with  
open coffin where congregants deposited slips of paper on which they  
wrote what thy wished to bury with the old year. I tried to bury the  
recession. <grin> Several lurker members of the chat lists also  
attended.

Jan 18 Sun - Jazz Concert for Tri State Jazz Society 2 to 5:30 PM Am

                         Post 72, Railroad Avenue, Brooklawn NJ.

Jan 24 Sat - Tall Ship Moshulu, Penn's Landing Philadelphia 6 to 10 PM.
                        This is a private party, however the music  
bleeds over into the
                        Entrance Foyer (chairs/sofa/fireplace) between  
the forward cabin
                        where we play and the aft cabin public  
restaurant. You can see and 	               hear us while you sit and  
sip drinks in this public space.

Jan 29 -Thu Jazz Concert at Springhouse in Lower Gwynedd 7 to 8 PM

Feb 8 -  Sun Mardi Gras Jazz Concert for PA Jazz Society 2 to 6 PM. Am  
Legion
                        Post in Wind Gap PA. This is the high energy  
banjo/tuba Mardi Gras         		       band version similar to the  
Funeral Band yesterday.

Public welcome at all above gigs. E mail me for more information if  
interested. We are also playing some private parties (Jan 23, 25 and  
31) during the above period and if you are visiting our area and can  
only attend on these dates, let me know and I'll get permission for you.

PS: Looking for a Mardi Gras Party?  Our Mardi Gras band will be at  
the Iron Hill Brewery in Lancaster PA on Fat Tuesday, Feb 24 from 6 to  
9 PM, following an afternoon Mardi Gras, 2 to 3 PM at Riddle Village  
in Media PA. This IHB venue is always fun as it is opposite Franklin &  
Marshall University.
