[Dixielandjazz] Slightly OT: How to do a jazzy song without expressing any emotion

True, it is not the best video recording, but how can this band play a  
fun, swinging tune - even with some good solos - without any emotional  
visual cues? Other than what looks like a miss-step or two, they are  
locked into a robotic performance - yet they sound really good!

(I have seen earlier versions of this band play in person - sometimes  
the do swing (a bit) but that may have been because they were not at  
home... ;-)
