[Dixielandjazz] Yvonne King RIP

[Robert Ringwald]

Yvonne King of the King Sisters passed away Sunday night, just
a month before her 90th birthday. She is prominently featured on the "King Family
Christmas Special" currently airing on PBS stations. Marilyn King, the last surviving
sister, will appear at a screening of the special this Sunday at the Paley Broadcasting
Museum in Beverly Hills and will perform her holiday cabaret show as scheduled next
Tuesday, Dec. 22, at Vitello's in Studio City.
