Dear Ken,
In my reply to you I gave the year for the Clancy Hayes Good Time Jazz  
LP album 'Swinging Minstrel' as 1963.
Although quoted in most sources, this would seem to be incorrect.
The discography in Derek Coller's Jess Stacy book (Jazzology Press) is  
more specific and gives 18 Jan 1958 and I am inclined to accept the  
research of this eminent writer/discographer.
The band has Pud Brown, cl; Jess Stacy, p; Bob Short, tu' and Shelley  
Manne, d. It was recorded in LA.
