[Dixielandjazz] Richard Sudhalter

So sad!
Sudhalter lived in the UK quite a few years, wrote for the Jazz
Journal under the name of Art Napoleon, and played cornet as Dick
Sudhalter.  He made some excellent records there (some reissued on
George H. Buck's Jazzology label).  I heard him in Nice, France, in
1976, in a programme of some less well known American composers, and
remember him as an entertainning raconteur, in addition to being an
excellent musician.
So, go out there and listen to whoever is around before it's too late.
