Spot on Steve. The important thing is that how many of these'cool' 
musicians EVER listen to the roots. We've said it before - Go back and 
find out where it came from. It is no use learning the music at school 
or at college. It has to become part of you - otherwise it is only 
notes. Arnett Cobb proved that to me 20 odd years ago with the Hamp 
band. He followed this young turk on tenor sax he played a technicall 
brilliant solo. Cobb struggled to his feet, state one note and blew this 
guy away. Cobb was hot.
