If any of you are likely to be in town, my band (Classic Jazz Orchestra) is on at the Spiegeltent on Friday 1st August at 6:00pm, where we'll be presenting a programme of music associated with Louis Armstrong, on which we'll be joined by Duke Heitger and Topsy Chapman.  Duke and CJO recently recorded a CD of this music and, judging by the early roughs, it'll be a storming album. I'll let you know when it's ready for release. We haven't worked with Topsy before, but we're all looking forward to that experience (I'm burning the midnight oil writing special charts for it). If any DJML listers can make it, please come up and say hello.
