[Dixielandjazz] Audience Involvement

When Dixieland Jazz faded from the scene, IMO a lot of it happened  
because we forgot how to keep the audience involved. The below you  
tube illustrates the point. These guys took over music because in  
large measure, they kept the audience in their programs.

Note how the audience gets into it at about the 5 minute mark.

Lewis, Fats & Friends. Lots of fun with a song that many of us do  
today (with a lot less energy). Great audience participation and not  
too different from what Tom Wiggins & band got at the Red Sea Jazz  
Festival in Israel 2 years ago.
