Putting the mic into the bell works great when I play funk.  To get a
fun electricky bassy sound, I like the mic pretty hot, but I play
softly.  My attack is much crisper playing softly.

Most of the time though, I have an Audio Technica atm35 clip on.  Good
warm jazz sound.  Looking for tech references, I see they don't make
this mic no mo'.
