The Sacramento Library in partnership with the Jazz at the Lincoln Center
and National
Endowment for the Humanities are presenting the History of Jazz and More.

Look for the events for September and October held at the Tsakopoulos
Library Galleria.
AND IT IS FREE.

Sept. 6, A short film New Orleans the Birth Place of Jazz.
Followed by live music by
              Fulton Street Jazz Band

Sept. 13, A short film, The Jazz Age and Harlem, followed by live music by
CSUS
                Professors

Sept. 20. A short film, Jazz Vocalists, followed by Vivian Lee and her
Quintet.

Sept. 27. A short film The Jazz Swing Era followed by CSUS Big Band jazz and
swing.

Oct. 11. A short film, Latin Jazz followed by CSUS Latin Jazz Band.

Oct. 18. Jazz Innovators Bebop to Cool. Followed by The Capital Jazz Project

Oct. 25. Special Finale Concert.
The Divine Divas of Jazz featuring Vivian Lee, Julia
Dollison, Francesca Homan, and Meleva Steiert supported by Aaron Garner,
              Shelly Denny and Jimmy Robinson.
