[Dixielandjazz] ? Slightly our of period - "Take the A Train"changes

Two of the incredible variations were the pop songs "I Want to Be Loved By
You (Boop-Boop-a-Doop)" and "Exactly Like You," both of which pre-date
A-Train but have (in the first case I'm pretty sure, and in the second case
I'm dead certain) the same changes. And yes, those changes allow for some
incredible variations no matter which tune you decide to take them from.

Many thanks to all of you who make this list so worth-while and with
apologies if this has been dealt with before.
Could anyone tell me if there is a recording of, or written version
of "Take the A Train" as Strayhorn wanted it done? This isn't to
nail down a definitive version but to get a handle on the incredible
variations possible with the changes of this tune.
Thanks in advance,
Ric Giorgi
