Hi All,

digging through some old stuff looking for something to play as background for a dinner party last night I found an old tape.

I have had no means of playing tapes for years and have never used the player which I added to my kit when we moved house 18 months ago.

I stuck on a very tatty looking cassette, with no box and it turned out to be a Errol Gardner playing with Woody Herman singing. All good stuff. Melancholy Baby, If I could be with you,  etc.  I must have taped it from someone elses LP years ago.
I had filled the tape up with a guitarist named Johnny Smith, probably from a similar source.

Anyone know anything about the originals?
