[Dixielandjazz] The Lack of Music Programs in the Schools.

It seems to me that eliminating music from early shooling is stupid in the
extreme. It has long been known that music education fosters facility in
mathematics (after all, western music is all about ratios and wave forms),
so to eliminate music is to degrade the mathematics curiculum. I am not
mentioning federal programs or State programs, but a principal. Blow the
federal programs, go to your local school board meetings and tell them to
eliminate Creative Psycho-Babble and to use the money for band and chorus
instead.
