Dear Ladies on the list and Nice people like Bill Haesler:-)  I just wanted 
you to know that Larry Walton's outdated view of female singers has not gone 
unrebuked.

I think a light hearted comment of mine about the value of a singer in a 
hostess role ( no not THAT sort of hostess) might have spawned this 
convoluted thread.  Now maybe we could turn our attention to the importance 
of sequins for the professional female singer.
