Hi Glen :

With all respect sir would that include eliminating any one such
experienced and knowledgeable person who has probably contributed more
to the value of this list than scores of others ? So they sometimes
rub some folks the wrong way, well if that is the case then why don't
some of ya'll who are so quick to jump on this bandwagon contribute
something useful and knowledgeable to this list other than throwing
bottles and rotten fruit from the audience at others who do post and
stimulate often interesting conversations and threads whether you
personally like them or not. Those kind of folks remind me of the ones
who like to spend their days and nights not working in music sitting in
the library :)) shuuuuuussssshhh no talking. :))

For all who already know everything there is to know about Dixieland,
and YKOM and the music business in general just hit your delete key and
go on about your life. By throwing in barbs here you are only fueling
the flames of a fire that would go out soon anyway.

If any of you have ever learned anything about Jazz and music you would
know that it has always been politically motivated and message music of
it's time throughout history and Rock and roll did the same thing. Get
a grip. Do you not think the battle between Dixieland, Traditional
Jazz, Ragtime, Swing, Big Band, Bee Bop, Avante Garde and modern Jazz
has not been Political ?

Give me a break. :))

Cheers,

Tom

   Hello to all,,
Whether or not I agree with Dan on a specific topic I am fully behind
his
last post.

I would have no problems if persons were eliminated from the list if
they
contravened the origininal intent of Saint Peter.
I live 10 mins drive away from Peter's sister and saw him on a number of
occasions. If any contributer is deemed to have gone beyond the bounds
of
the original intent of Peter when he started this endeavour I would
support
the moderator's right to eliminate them from access to what can be a
valuable resource.

Let the good times roll, and a few heads also.
Glen.
