Yes, I remember Johnny, and I would have spelled it Claes too: only the  
pronunciation is different - Clays and Clowse is near enough. The Swedish Claes  
is also an excellent cornet player and leader of the Barfota Jazzmen. He's a  
cardiologist at a hospital in Sundsvall which he unilaterally renamed "The Bunk 
 Johnson Memorial Hospital" much to the dismay of the authorities until he  
pointed out that since the "renaming" the hospital had become (relatively)  
famous.
