This is NOT a jazz club, it is a function of the French Embassy.  The
contact is some young cultural attache, and the address, in NW DC, is part
of the embassy.  You¹d think they¹d have a budget for this, but it appears
like they are treating it as a diplomatic event and soliciting all the
freebie participation.
