Dear Audrey - and others involved with this thread.
I have just noticed that in referring to one of Dorothy Tait's aliases, 
I have been spelling it incorrectly as Fairburn
It is Fairbairn.
Which makes 'googling' difficult.
The reason for my persistent mental block is that one of my partners in 
our early architectural practice was a Keith Fairburn.
Old habits die hard.
