What an irreplaceable loss! I've known Bill for over two decades and 
Maggie'n'me had the pleasure of participating in his marriage to the 
lovely Beverly. We spent quality time with them sharing a condo while 
volunteering at the Mammoth Lake Festival for several years. All of 
which prefaces this:

Everything that's been posted here about this Renaissance Man's many 
qualities is absolutely true. He was a multi-talented, humorous and  
superfriendly human. whose departure leaves an unfillable void.

The only time he was somewhat less friendly was when playing cribbage, 
at which time he he showed neither compassion nor mercy  toward his 
opponent.

I'm still in denial that he has left us. Who's going to correct us with 
irrefutable logic when our postings are off course?
