Dear friends,
Floyd Levin gone!
Another tragic loss for jazz music.
He will be missed, but fortunately his wonderful research and writings will
be with us forever.
I regret that I never got to meet Floyd on our several trips to the US.
But I do have a signed "For Bill...[plus message]" copy of his fine 2000
book 'Classic Jazz'.

Apropos an earlier thread, Bill G's sad email came through nearly an hour
ago.
