We were devastated to learn this morning that our dear friend Floyd Levin
died last night very unexpectantly of a heart attack.  Our heart goes out to
Lucille and his family. The entire music community has lost a great jazz
historian and a lover of ALL kinds of jazz and all kinds of musicians. I
will personally miss our telephone chats about music today and music
and musicians from the past. Most of which that he had a personal connection
with.
