FYI--The current (Dec. 2006) issue of IAJRC Journal (International 
Association of Jazz Record Collecters) has an article titled 
"YouTube--Decades of Jazz on the Small Screen" by Gil Erskine. It 
contains an annotated list of jazz performances available on YouTube, 
too numerous to list here. Gil was a founder of the New Orleans Jazz 
Club in 1948, former writer for Down Beat and innumerable others, and a 
fine jazz scholar.
