I don't think I put a time line on it exactly but when there is money to be 
made it's interesting how popular something gets. You are right about white 
fans and musicians from the beginning also I didn't say anything about Funk.

I said "it seems that" and  "Trend" and "Try"  all of which are terms of 
gray not black and white absolutes.  No term that I used is absolute like 
the word "exclusive".  I didn't say "exclusive" to anyone.

It may not be a fair criticism or statement but I have never heard anyone 
say that it isn't true at least in part.  Just as it isn't fair or even 
reasonable to think that anyone would in their right mind try to write 
something that half the population wouldn't like.  Being exclusive is bad 
business especially in the cash drawer and bottom line that's what 
professional music is all about no matter what color the musician is.  Then 
again there are those that have other values besides money.
